Job Description
WSP Brasil is seeking a Junior Hydrologist to work in Belo Horizonte/MG. The successful candidate will assist in hydrological data compilation, organization, and interpretation, as well as prepare databases, graphs, and technical figures. They will also collaborate in studies of surface water availability and water supply and demand scenarios, and support in hydrological and hydraulic modeling. The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Geology, or related areas, and good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of hydrology, climatology, and GIS tools is also desired.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Geology, or related areas
- Ability to work with data, information organization, and document preparation
- Good written communication and attention to detail
- Availability to intern in a hybrid model in the Belo Horizonte office
