DevOps Engineer

Gong is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join and scale our U.S.-based DevSecOps function. As one of the foundational members in our U.S. R&D team, you'll shape not only the infrastructure but also the culture and processes that support Gong's next phase of expansion and innovation.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 3 + years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles
• Proven track record of building and operating scalable cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code and GitOps methodologies (Crossplane, Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, CircleCI)
• Extensive experience with running Kubernetes and container orchestration in production
• A solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals, REST architecture, and cloud security concepts
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and management tools
• Experience implementing security automation in CI/CD pipelines
• Background in container security and Kubernetes security best practices
• Experience working in a Java-based environment
• One or more security-related certifications (CKA,CISSP, CEH, Security+, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or product environments
• Bonus: Experience working in a hybrid/global team across time zones
• Willing to travel internationally from time to time
