Per Diem Weekend Nurse position at Good Shepherd Community Care, a community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization, seeking a well-organized and enthusiastic nurse for weekend availability, with travel required.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts
- Bachelors preferred
- 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of hospice or equivalent nursing experience
- Sensitivity to and knowledgeable about end-of-life issues
- Comfortable working with socioculturally diverse patients/families
- Demonstrates ability to manage pain and control symptoms
- Demonstrates flexibility and multitasking abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Adaptable to frequently changing patient needs
- Proficient with electronic documentation
- Comfortable using mobile technologies
