Job Description
GoodLeap is a technology company providing financing and software for sustainable solutions like solar panels and energy-efficient home improvements. The Home Equity Specialist originates HELOC loans by communicating with customers, gathering documentation, evaluating applications, and closing approved loans. The role involves meeting production goals, prospecting for new customers, educating on HELOC products, and ensuring compliance with lending laws.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a loan officer, preferably with HELOC expertise
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field preferred
- Strong communication, sales, and relationship building skills
- Proficiency with loan origination/processing software systems
- Knowledge of lending guidelines, laws and regulations
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and problem-solving abilities
