Sr. Software Engineer

GoodRx is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to contribute to a high-performing engineering team, design and implement scalable services, and own the quality and reliability of services. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, extensive experience with cloud-based web services and microservices, and strong experience with multiple programming languages.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Significant experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices
• Extensive experience with multiple programming languages (Go, Java, python, C#, Rust, etc.)
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational database technologies
• Proven debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of component-level and application-level design patterns and their practical application
• Ability to deal with ambiguous and complex project requirements
• Effective verbal and written communicator
• Experience with observability and monitoring systems
• Experience with different testing practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative degree
