As a Services Coordinator, you'll help adults with developmental disabilities build skills, connect with their communities, and live more independently. You'll coordinate and manage services, develop personalized plans, and lead team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a DD-related field OR equivalent experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license and personal auto insurance
- Ability to pass a DOT physical (or doctor's clearance) for transportation duties
- Certifications required for this position, which must be kept up to date
- Passion for supporting people with disabilities and helping them succeed
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Creativity and initiative in planning fun and meaningful activities
- Ability to work independently and make quick, responsible decisions
- Great communication and relationship-building skills, including patience and empathy
- Flexibility working with different individuals and with varied situations
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of organizations and people
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and think clearly under pressure
- Familiarity with the local area and comfort using technology on the go
