Job Description
The Retail Assistant Store Manager works with the store leadership team and staff to execute store operational objectives, promoting a positive work environment and celebrating the company's vision, mission, and core values. He or she assists with store staffing, ensures proper training, and communicates clearly at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Assists with store staffing needs
- Ensures all new employees have an orientation plan and are trained on all required work processes, procedures, and expected standards of performance
- Communicates often and clearly at all levels of the organization
- Leads by working hands on and side by side with all employees within the store
- Monitors production and donations performance weekly and monthly, and provides monthly reviews to all retail associates
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of team members
- Maintains effective communication with support staff
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, overnights, and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the business
- Performs store housekeeping duties as needed
