The Data Center Services Electrical Engineer will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical distribution systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, swiftly, and with high quality. This involves managing site-level electrical engineering issues, ensuring compliance with design standards and local regulations, supporting quality assurance, and providing technical guidance to vendor teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction.
- Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of utility electrical distribution systems in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure.
- Experience working with data center equipment and environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, transformers, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., structural, civil, IT/telecom, security, mechanical, architectural), and in prefabrication or modular construction.
- Understanding of start-up and commissioning processes.
