Data Center Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Data Center Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a visionary, you will optimize for efficiencies and seek improvements in our data centers. You will ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements, and serve as an expert in your specialty. Your technical expertise will play a crucial role in the field-level implementation and operational support of Google's rapidly expanding data centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design, construction environments, and their mechanical infrastructure
• 5 years of experience with mechanical infrastructure systems such as HVAC, cooling systems, and water system engineering
• 5 years of experience with data center operations and working with mechanical contractors and cross-functional project teams
• 5 years of experience with electro/mechanical assembly and mechanical testing procedures, including resolution and comprehensive documentation maintenance for mechanical designs
