Hardware Engineer

Google is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their team. The role involves working with hardware design teams and suppliers to understand new project architectures and determine safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Hardware Engineer-related occupation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Hardware Engineer-related occupation
• Experience in performing measurements to validate designs meet established safety design specifications
• Experience in systems architecture design or system-level design for product safety systems, testability and reliability
• Experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design for product safety
• Experience in utilizing oscilloscopes, hi-pot testers, electronic loads to validate safety compliance requirements
• Experience in obtaining international product safety approvals
