Security Engineering Manager, Enterprise Data Protection

The Security Engineering Manager, Enterprise Data Protection, will be responsible for securing access to Google's infrastructure and services, managing a team, and driving major security improvements. They will design and build controls for various systems and lead the design of automatic AI-based classification systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 8 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
• 8 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
• 5 years of experience in managing a team of engineers or security professionals for an organization.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Background designing security solutions to business problems.
