Senior Software Engineer, Android, YouTube Create

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex features and infrastructure projects for the YouTube Create Client team on Android. The ideal candidate will have experience with Android application development, data structures, and algorithms, and will be able to drive the technical roadmap for Android infrastructure. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to mentor and guide engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience programming in C++
• 5 years of experience programming in Java or Kotlin
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• 3 years of experience with android application development
