Senior Software Development Engineer (Android)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering Team in Bengaluru. As a member of the team, you will work on delivering exceptional experiences and measurable outcomes through cross-functional partnership, scalable programs, and operational excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include being an advocate for mobile development best practices, crafting the future of our next mobile app & platform development strategy, and designing, developing, and unit/UI testing large-scaled mobile applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years in delivering native applications for Android with a deep understanding of a consumer app life-cycle
• 3+ years of experience with Java (experience with Kotlin is a bonus)
• A genuine interest in shipping quality applications and a belief in engineering excellence
• The ability to effectively communicate across teams and with other product stakeholders
• Passion for guiding/mentoring junior developers on the team and a strong belief in effective code reviews
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
