Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Systems, Firmware, Platforms and Devices

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to pioneer, develop, and build out the footprint in consumer hardware or software. The successful candidate will contribute to the core of Android and work on open source projects including the Linux kernel, Android operating system, and build the future of Android together with the large partner ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C, C++)
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems
