Technical Program Manager II, Network Acquisition, Cloud Networking

As a Technical Program Manager II, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You'll be part of the AI and Infrastructure team, shaping the future of hyperscale computing and driving global impact by contributing to Google infrastructure, from software to hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience in program management
• Experience with network infrastructure acquisition (i.e. dark fiber, transport systems, or data centers)
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional and cross-team projects
• Experience with network planning and engineering, including long haul and metro networks, as well as availability and resiliency analysis
• Experience working in a network vendor or telecommunications carrier environment
• Knowledge of networking, optical technologies, and outside plant or layer one network design
