As a Vietnamese Language Manager, you will play a strategic role in building relationships with partner teams to establish needs, deadlines, and quality standards. You will share your project management skills to ensure the Localization process runs effectively and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include developing language strategy to enable native language experience to users, creating Vietnamese language guidelines and language strategy for Google, and engaging regularly with local stakeholders to understand their priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role
- Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently
- Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience within creative, localization, journalism, public communications or the online marketing/advertising industry
- Experience as a Vietnamese translator, linguist, copywriter, writer or editor, with excellent translation and linguistic skills
- Experience in project/program management, partner/stakeholder management, with experience working across cross-functional teams and time-zones
