Robotic Welding Operator 2nd shift

Operate computer-controlled machines to perform welding functions on metal work pieces. Set up, operate, and tend robotic welding machines to join or bond components. Perform routine maintenance, post-weld grinding, and weld cleanup.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints
• Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
