Job Description
The company is seeking a CAD Designer to generate design concepts, submittal and fabrication drawings, and review quality. The role involves collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders. CAD experience is needed with 3D modeling software and CAD Software like AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Revit/BIM.
Requirements
- Active member of the design team
- Generate design concepts
- Generate submittal and fabrication drawings
- Review/Check quality of design drawings
- Organize and participate in design charrettes
- Answer questions from internal and external customers
- Handle incoming CAD Department inquiries
- Prepare Art, Die, Fabrication, and Submittal types of drawings
- Prepare full size paper templates
- Develop and maintain Engineering Drafting Standards
- Develop and recommend solutions to design problems
- Perform duties as a Drawing Quality Checker
- Strong Attention to Detail skills
- Effective communication skills
