Senior Backend Engineer

Gorgias is building a unified AI agent that makes conversations the #1 way to shop. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design features, API, and models for 16,000 merchants and 12M shoppers across the world. You will work closely with an engineering manager, a product manager, and a designer, and alongside a team of seasoned senior engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in backend engineering
• Proficiency in Python or Java
• Deep understanding of modern software design principles
• Experience shipping user-facing products at scale and taking full ownership of work beyond the code
• Ability to write clean, testable code and care about building high-quality software that lasts
