Specialty Products is seeking a 4th Shift Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of all company assets and building to promote safe work practices, food safety, quality, and legality.
Requirements
- Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems
- Install, repair, and diagnose AC & DC motors, single and three-phase power systems
- Install, repair, and diagnose mechanical power transmission drives and related systems
- Install and repair general facility plumbing and perform carpentry work
- Support the PM system and apply industrial lubricants
- Properly handle and apply basic hand and power tools and test equipment
- Support the plant’s production equipment and set-up
- Execute breader mills, scalper, and sifter set-up, change-over, and disassembly requirements
- Responsible for the hook-up and unloading of bulk rail materials, and the proper hook-up of bulk-material trucks
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems
- Responsible for the handling of waste oil in compliance with EPA rules
- Responsible for the daily inspection of forklift equipment
- Responsible for knowing and following company rules and procedures
