Director of Behavioral Health Services

The Director of Behavioral Health Services leads the clinical and operational direction of a growing behavioral health program within a community health clinic serving the BIPOC population. This role oversees licensed providers, shapes care delivery, ensures regulatory compliance, and strengthens access to mental health services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Active California clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD)
• Minimum 5 years of behavioral health leadership or management experience
• Experience working in community health, public health, or underserved populations
• Strong knowledge of compliance, clinical documentation, and quality standards
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
