Controls Engineer, Cell Line

Gotion Inc. is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility in Manteno, IL. The engineer will support and optimize the Pack/Module pilot production line, ensuring high standards of process stability, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with a strong focus on control systems and automation
• Hands-on experience with Cell assembly processes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of laser welding processes is a plus
• Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems
• Familiarity with robotics, machine vision, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNet)
