Job Description
The Transportation Manager directs the activities associated with up to 30 Delivery Drivers and supervisory personnel, responsible for strategic overview and implementation of projects, expense and revenue management, compliance with government regulations, and security and safety of the Transportation department.
Requirements
- Directs the daily work and safety of Delivery Drivers, supervisors, routing personnel, and other associates
- Ensures management staff is effectively managing day-to-day delivery activities
- Ensures Delivery Associate compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
- Prepares budget, profit plans, and capital requests
- Interprets, trains, and enforces Company policies and procedures
