Job Description
The Acute Nurse Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, adhering to facility policies and regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EHR. The role involves patient assessment, medication administration, charting, and ensuring safe patient care. Fluency in electronic health records and strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Must have or complete ACLS, PALS, TNCC and NRP certification within one (1) year of employment.
- Eye/Hand, Eye/Foot and Hand/Foot Coordination.
- Normal eyesight, with or without corrective lenses.
- Normal hearing, with or without hearing aids.
- Motor coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
- Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force.
