Job Description
The Charge Nurse is responsible for the coordination of care for patients across the care continuum. This role involves direct patient care, education, and transitions of care, with a focus on accurate patient and family education and efficient staff supervision. The Charge Nurse also ensures adherence to policies and procedures, as well as maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas.
- Two (2) years of RN experience preferred.
- CPR certified.
- One (1) year of ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification in one (1) year of employment.
- Regular eye and hand coordination with normal or corrected vision.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
