Job Description
This position is for a Respiratory Therapist, focused on providing respiratory care to patients within the scope of practice. The therapist is responsible for initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, documenting patient data, and ensuring patient safety. They work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals and must demonstrate knowledge of various respiratory therapies, including oxygen delivery, patient monitoring, and infection control.
Requirements
- Current Kansas Registered Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
- Current BLS certification or ACLS/NRP certification within 6 months
- Current ACLS or NRP certification or obtain within 6 months
- Regular eye and hearing tests
- Ability to perform repetitive movements and lifting up to 50lbs
