Operations Worker III - Snowfighter (Inventory)

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking individuals to create an inventory for existing and future casual snowfighter opportunities in the Highway Maintenance crews within the Moncton District during winter operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled duties in the construction and maintenance of highways, managing safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy equipment, and ensuring roads are safe for public use through plowing and placing sand and salt on roads.

Requirements

• completion of grade ten (10)
• minimum of three (3) years experience in the operation of heavy construction equipment
• valid Class 3 driver's license with endorsement for air brakes as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
