Job Description
Gowling WLG is seeking a Principal Associate to join their Non-Contentious Construction team in Birmingham. This role involves advising property companies, real estate investors, and other clients on high-value construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects. The team is well-regarded for its expert legal and technical advice and experience in various sectors.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor
- Minimum of 6 years' PQE
- Experience in all major forms of construction contract (JCT, NEC, MF/1, FIDIC)
- Experience in development and funding agreements and for lease.
- Experience in major projects and regeneration schemes.
- Proven ability to give pragmatic, commercial advice.
- Ability to manage major matters with little partner supervision.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Sound drafting and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork and learning.
