We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Natural Resources practice within the Financial Services & Capital Markets team, supporting market-leading work across mining, corporate securities, equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years' PQE
- Strong background in mining and public companies work — essential
- Oil and gas experience is preferred
- Experience in equity capital markets, including acting on transactions for listed entities for both corporates, investors and investment banks
- Demonstrable experience in public and private international M&A across a range of sectors
- Excellent drafting, analytical and transactional skills
- Solid understanding of corporate securities laws, corporate governance and regulatory frameworks
- Strong communication and client-facing ability, with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to manage complex matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong organisational skills
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive team culture and building a long-term career within the practice
