Job Description
Gozem is a mobile application offering various services to African users, recognized as 'Africa's Super App'. The company is seeking a Country Manager to develop and manage Transport, E-commerce, Financing, and Digital Banking activities in their country. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and managing local teams, promoting the company's vision and culture, and adapting products and processes to the country's context.
Requirements
- Recruit, train, and manage local teams
- Develop strategic commercial partnerships
- Adapt the business model to the different needs of cities
- Supervise the Management Team
- Analyze results and guide teams accordingly
- Ensure that operations respect all laws
- Manage crises that may arise
- Validate budgets with the management team
- Follow activity monthly to ensure reaching sales and profitability targets
- Engage with local partners and represent Gozem's interests
- Engage with banks and potential local investors
