Forge English Language Arts Teacher

Forge English Language Arts Teacher position available at Forge Christian High School in Arvada, Colorado. The ideal candidate is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ with experience in teaching English or Literature. Responsibilities include developing and implementing curriculum plans, instructing students, and demonstrating servant leadership. Salary: $45-55K.

Requirements

• Passionate relationship with Jesus Christ
• Demonstrates servant leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field from an accredited college or university required
• Master’s degree in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field preferred
• Current ACSI certification or state teaching license required (or ability to obtain)
• 1-3 years of English or Literature teaching experience
• Demonstrates competency in all academic areas assigned to teach
• Excellent relational skills with people of all ages
• Aligned with and able to clearly support the school’s mission, vision, and goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and academic information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates a proactive, service-oriented approach with a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role
