Head of Global Equity Administration | United States | Remote

Grafana Labs is seeking a Head of Global Equity Administration to establish and lead their equity administration function from the ground up, owning the design, implementation, and management of global equity programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in stock administration, equity compensation, or related roles
• Proven experience building and scaling an equity administration function in a high-growth company
• Hands-on experience leading a transition from a legacy equity platform to a modern, public-company-ready equity system
• Direct experience supporting IPO readiness and/or operating as a public company
• Deep knowledge of equity compensation plans, cap table management, and related tax and regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of equity accounting (ASC 718) and internal control frameworks
• Experience administering equity programs across multiple countries and jurisdictions
• Demonstrated ability or strong mindset toward using AI, automation, and advanced tooling to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight in equity operations
• High attention to detail combined with the ability to manage complex projects and timelines
• Clear, confident communicator who can explain equity concepts to employees, executives, and the Board
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, less-structured environment
