Senior Backend Software Engineer, Alerting | Spain | Remote

Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Alerting team in Spain. The team operates at the core of the Grafana open-source project and is responsible for providing a comprehensive alerting system. The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers' needs.

Requirements

• Motivated self-starter with a bias towards action
• Customer-focused
• Pragmatism: able to take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve short feedback loops
• Collaboration and communication: good communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote setup
• Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust, or similar)
• Experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements to shipping a product to the customer's hands in a self-driven way
• Experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud or systems engineering
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others
