Job Description
As a Contracts Manager at Grainger, you will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, drafting and interpreting commercial and government tenders and contracts. You will work alongside legal and business stakeholders to identify and mitigate business and contracting risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years Contract drafting and negotiating experience
- Excellent knowledge of business and legal terms and conditions and risk management
- Formal legal training would be a significant asset
- Strong ability to identify relevant issues resulting from contract wording and terms
- Excellent business acumen, sound judgment, and solid negotiation skills
- Proven track record in drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating a diverse range of contracts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint
