Maintenance Technicians complete preventive maintenance tasks and routine repairs on automated material handling system components. They will also complete Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing repairs and other building tasks.
Requirements
- Respond to system issues involving conveyors, PIE, sortation and controls (EMS, WCS, Sort Director, EWM, Hardware, and Software)
- Basic troubleshooting/diagnostic and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of the conveyor system and building components
- Operate all material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution Center
- Work at heights and in unusual positions
- Knowledge and application of safe work practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards and Arc Flash
- Follow codes, such as the NEC, BOCA and UBC, MSDS and OSHA
- Design, implement, and document PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley) programming changes to automated equipment when authorized
- Troubleshoot, and implement changes to I/O device networks such as Probus, Data Highway, and CanBus
