Job Description
Do you have a solid knowledge of VAT legislation and are you ready to take on more responsibility without moving into a managerial role yet? As a Supervisor VAT Consultant at Grant Thornton Belgium, you remain strongly involved in client work while supporting the team in a task-oriented way.
Requirements
- Hold a Master's degree in an economic, legal or tax-related field.
- Have at least 4 years of relevant VAT experience, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Have a strong technical understanding of Belgian VAT, with exposure to international VAT being an asset.
- Be comfortable guiding and supporting junior colleagues in a task-oriented manner.
- Work in a structured and accurate way and take ownership of your assignments.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, adapting your message to your audience.
- Be fluent in Dutch and English (knowledge of French is a plus).
- Have a very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Affinity with Power BI is a plus.
