Job Description
Grant Thornton is seeking an Audit Manager to join their Commercial Audit service line. The role involves managing a large portfolio of audit clients, solving complex technical matters, and overseeing and developing a team. The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification and post-qualification experience, as well as experience of managing audits of large companies and dealing with complex technical matters.
Requirements
- Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA)
- Post-qualification experience
- Experience of managing audits of large companies
- Experience of dealing with complex technical matters
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
- Project management experience
- Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies
- Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
