Job Description
Grant Thornton is seeking a CASS Safeguarding Technical Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a member of this team, you will develop a high priority service and contribute to embedding quality within the firm's culture. The role involves working closely with audit teams and technical senior team to deliver challenging messages in a positive and confident way.
Requirements
- Experience in audit and/or audit quality control
- Experience of CASS and safeguarding audits and sound understanding of the CASS rules
- Good understanding of FCA regulation across the financial services sectors
- Excellent insight and analytical skills
- Highly motivated and passionate about audit quality
- A willingness to work flexibly
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CA or ACCA)
- Previous experience of working in a technical role in professional services environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think creatively
- Team work/collaboration skills
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
