Grant Thornton is seeking a Director to join their Restructuring Team in London. As a Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of case work, leading pitches, and developing client relationships. You will have experience in leading financial restructuring engagements, including creditor side advisory mandates, business reviews, turnarounds, and insolvency appointments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant restructuring experience and a relevant accounting qualification.
Requirements
- Leading the preparation and delivery of pitches for new assignments
- Developing client relationships and identifying opportunities to win new work
- Managing a portfolio of case work with minimal partner involvement
- Taking responsibility for all aspects of delivery of case strategy, and delegating where appropriate
- Acting as an effective mentor to team members
- Applying technical knowledge appropriately in the context of individual clients
- Displaying skill and speed in resolving client problems, and maintaining impetus on progressing projects
- Taking responsibility for compliance, applying best practice, risk management, budgets and billing
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the department
- Maintaining a good understanding of the market and current developments
- Acting as an expert witness when needed
