Restructuring Director

Grant Thornton is looking for a Restructuring Director to join their team in London. As a Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of case work, leading pitches for new assignments, and developing opportunities to win new work. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant restructuring experience and a relevant accounting qualification.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of relevant restructuring experience
• Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent)
• Insolvency qualifications beneficial but not essential
• Significant experience of managing projects, including Creditor side advisory mandates, Company side turnaround, independent business reviews, short-term cash flow reviews, accelerated sales processes, contingency planning and execution and insolvency appointments
• Developed network of contacts and ability to generate work referrals
• Ability to take responsibility for developing and implementing marketing initiatives and supporting the Partner team in business development activity
• High energy style, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well in a very fast paced environment
• Exceptional negotiation skills with complex/sophisticated situations involving senior level stakeholders
• Expertise defining, communicating, motivating and driving change across the broader community of stakeholders
• Articulate, persuasive, communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult audiences
