Finishing Operator

The Finishing Operator will support the Finishing Department at the Staunton, VA facility, responsible for setting up and maintaining folder/gluer equipment and processes to produce folding cartons. The position requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read and follow instructions, and basic arithmetic operations. The operator will work in a manufacturing environment, with physical requirements including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least three years of professional working experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment, preferred folding carton manufacturing experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve gluer problems
