Job Description
Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Finishing Operator to operate and maintain a Bobst basket gluer. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Comply with all company and department safety, quality, productivity and security procedures
- Ensure accuracy in recording of operator documentation involving all aspects of the assigned machine
- Monitor machine for inefficient operation and make adjustments as necessary
- Understand and operate glue monitoring and control systems on the machines
- Communicate all machine and department issues effectively to supervisors, converting manager and lead operators
