Finishing Packing Specialist

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Finishing Packing Specialist to work in their production facility. The Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the correct loads are staged for hand feeding and verifying that the correct stacks are being received from Cutters. The position involves working on a team to resolve automation issues, monitoring the operation of the Gluer, and performing various tasks to maintain efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• Comply with all company and department safety, quality, productivity, and security procedures
• Review Job Information packet and verify correct loads are staged for hand feeding
• Assist Operator with Automation issues on Gluer as directed
• Monitor automation for correct operation when both robots are operational
• Relieve Operator for break
• Update Parkview data as required for timely checks
• Ensure carton specifications are within customer requirements
• Perform Leary checks as required
• Monitor all CSI automation is functioning properly
• Assist the daily run task of machine, clearing jams, loading tap enforcer tape, cleaning glue filter, removing waste, moving loads
• Communicate with Supervisor and Material Handler about any possible road blocks in a timely manner
