Press Helper

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Feeders for their Printing department in Staunton, VA. This role involves assisting the Pressman with operating and maintaining the printing press efficiently, safely, and accurately, focusing on environmental responsibility and proper disposal of waste. The position contributes to the company's mission of producing high-quality paper products for a diverse customer base.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret job jacket information.
• Responsible for locating sheeted board and comparing label with job jacket.
• Operates pallet jack to move skids from raw material to press room.
• Loads skids of sheeted board on press conveyor and maintains conveyor.
• Responds to Pressman with special requests during press make ready.
• Responsible for filling and cleaning press chemicals.
• Ensure all used rags are disposed in a proper bin.
• Clean ink knives, ink fountains, and washer blades.
• Follow all company safety requirements.
