Engineering Manager

Graphite builds consumer-quality tools for modern software engineering teams, so they can ship faster and create amazing products. We're a small-but-mighty team of 30+ based in Manhattan in the heart of Soho, with a passionate and rapidly growing group of users at top engineering orgs like Ramp, Shopify, Snowflake, Duolingo, Vercel & more!

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing and growing engineering teams while actively contributing to codebases.
• Strong technical chops: comfortable coding, reviewing code, and architecting systems at scale.
• Proven ability to drive clarity and alignment around complex technical decisions and challenges.
• Empathetic leader who supports team growth and champions best practices in software engineering.
• Industry experience building high-quality software products
• An ability to identify problems, build alignment, and implement solutions autonomously
• Comfortable working with and designing abstractions and frameworks which increase developer velocity
