Test Engineering Intern position in Production Engineering Department for a duration of four months, supporting new product introduction and existing product support with a focus on developing and implementing production test solutions.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an internship program and working towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or a related program
- Ability to do electrical and mechanical design required
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
- Experience and understanding of different broadcast audio and video interface formats and associated standards
- Advanced PC knowledge in the following areas: HW drivers, custom SW and low-level OS settings
- Experience with the use and basic configuration of networking interfaces: TCP/IP, Telnet, FTP, SNMP
- Experience with common instrument communication interfaces and associated software tools: Serial RS232 & RS422
- Solid experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence, and Jira
- Software programming experience under windows is desired
- Experience with SW revision control and bug tracking systems: GIT, Stash, SVN or Rational ClearCase experience
- Experience with SolidWorks is suitable
