BROADCAST ENGINEER - WTOC

WTOC has an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Broadcast Engineer in our Technology Department. Our team is responsible for supporting all technical and physical aspects of our broadcast facilities.

Requirements

• A bachelor's Degree or similar certification is preferred, but is not required
• Experience with professional audio/video equipment, software, and techniques
• Knowledge of control-room automation and newsroom software is a plus
• Proficient with the latest computer operating systems, networking, and IP addressing
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly under pressure, while maintaining efficiency and composure
• Must possess a positive work attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Must be able to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are mandatory
• Applicants should be capable of performing basic physical tasks involving bending/lifting up to 50lbs
• Occasional travel required, and working outdoors in a limited capacity under a variety of weather conditions
