KNOE is searching for a digital news leader and innovator to grow the audience and lead direct creation of local news content across digital, mobile app, streaming, and social media platforms.
Requirements
- Manage the digital content team and lead digital strategy to grow digital, social media, and streaming audiences and engagement
- Analyze and actively use data and metrics to inform editorial and strategic decisions
- Oversee all station social media, including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging platforms
- Create unique, engaging, and shareable local content
- Teach, coach, and mentor our content team in best practices for journalism ethics, writing, and SEO
- Lead the digital response during breaking news, ensuring immediate and accurate online updates, push alerts, live streams, and social media updates in coordination with the newsroom
