Senior Software Engineer (C#.Net - Backend)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will design, build and maintain high quality, scalable, and performant software across our.Net backend platform. You will work to establish coding standards and technical design principles, contributing to the system architecture decisions and the ongoing quality of the codebase.

What You Will Do

Implement new features across the Ideagen Products using.Net and C# and open-source technologies. Collaborate with the Product Design Team to create an optimal user experience. Work across the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles.

Why It Might Be a Fit

At least 5 years’ experience in a Software Development role is preferred. Web application back-end development experience in.NET Core, and SQL Server. Experience in Entity Framework, RESTful API design. Proficient in Modern system architecture/Microservices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in a Software Development role
• Web application back-end development experience in.NET Core, and SQL Server
• Experience in Entity Framework, RESTful API design
• Proficient in Modern system architecture/Microservices
• Experience using Source Control, preferably Git
• Good understanding of UX / Design
• Experience writing backend and front-end unit tests
• Knowledge using CI/CD tools specifically Octopus
• Knowledge in AWS cloud-native technologies, Architecture / technical design
