Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join our team at SCI Summit Consulting, LLC. The Senior Underwriter will evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with Company underwriting guidelines and risk appetite, and will have a hybrid work environment or work remotely in select states.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Underwriting or a related field
- Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation, such as Associate in Underwriting (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Program in General Insurance (INS), or Associate of Risk Management (ARM)
