Underwriter - Hybrid

Vanliner Insurance Company is seeking an Underwriter to join their team in Richfield, OH. The position will work a hybrid schedule and is responsible for evaluating and underwriting new and renewal business, analyzing risk information, and communicating underwriting decisions to internal teams and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field
• 6 months of related insurance experience
• Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and decision-making ability
